Day1


 



DAY1
Why am I writing this blog? Well, writing it for myself really. To help me keep on track of my weight (hopefully) loss journey. See I have been here before (this is me on my wedding day, were I can really say I felt thin and looked good - I was down to 10stone 8lbs), I have struggled through the hunger pangs, the points counting and the sweating, but for some strange reason I forgot all that hard work and slowly let it all go to waste.

So where am I now? Well about 10 days ago I had a doctors appointment. I had a quick weight check and she informed we I am not only overweight, but obese! I have a BMI of 30 and need to loose weight. Now I am by no mean in denial about the fact I need to loose some weight, but trust me, I look far from what I thought obese was. I am 5 foot 4 and I would say medium build. I am a size 14 and weigh (deep breaths) 12stone 11lbs. 

So Tuesday 30th of October 2012 I have made the decision to start MY weight loss journey again, but this time I am aiming to keep it going as a lifestyle change. So as I look at this photo I have decided I no longer want those big flabby arms. I actually cut part of my arm from this photo, a denial of sorts.

Anyway, I started weight watchers last week, and it has been tough but enjoyable first few days. I got very upset when I heard my weight, BUT the first step is done now. Throughout the week I have eaten loads of photo I normally neglect, but genuinely enjoyed it. I made my first ever home made soup and went 6 days with NO bread, that's a record for me.
